Alexandria "Alex" Peterson

Precision Wound Care Specialists was founded by Alexandria “Alex” Peterson, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 20 years of combined experience across the operating room, wound care, hyperbaric medicine, and urgent care.
Alex focuses on the treatment of chronic and non-healing wounds, limb preservation, and advanced wound healing therapies — and she is passionate about delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care that helps patients achieve optimal outcomes. She earned both her Master of Science in Nursing and her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Alex recently retired from the U.S. Space Force Reserves, where she served as an ER and clinical nurse. Outside the clinic, she loves to hike, ski, run, bike, and explore the Colorado mountains with her family.
Jamie Mollison
Practice Administrator
Jamie is a compassionate Registered Nurse with 17 years of experience, specializing in Emergency Room trauma nursing. She has also worked in PACU, Interventional Radiology, and Wound Care, and has held various management roles. As Practice Manager, Jamie combines her clinical expertise with a personal touch — building strong connections with patients and families while ensuring top-quality care and smooth operations.
Shelby Ferguson
Revenue Cycle Management Specialist
With over 20 years of experience in medical billing and coding, Shelby specializes in supporting private practices through revenue cycle management, credentialing, and coding review. Having worked across a wide range of specialties, she helps practices identify lost revenue opportunities, improve reporting accuracy, and navigate the complexities of healthcare reimbursement. Shelby takes a practical, results-driven approach focused on helping providers and their teams improve processes, maintain compliance, and strengthen the financial health of the practice.
Paula Garb
Paula Garb holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a minor in Business Management, and brings more than 20 years of experience in IT project and program management. Over her career, she managed web applications supporting U.S. Visa services across seven countries, along with video conferencing systems and client-facing call center technology — leading complex, international initiatives with precision and a steady hand.
In recent years, she has devoted herself to managing care for elderly individuals, combining operational expertise with genuine compassion. A dedicated and hard-working professional, Paula came out of retirement because she thrives on staying engaged and making a difference. Today, as a Front Office Manager, she’s known for the warmth and reliability she brings to her work — qualities that make patients and colleagues alike adore her.
